Approach

Hi! I am James and I am a professional photographer in Devon in the South West of England. I was born and raised in Hertfordshire, not far from London, but I now live in East Devon, on the beautiful Jurassic Coast.

Over 10 years ago, my passion for photography led me to change careers. Like anyone else, I have always enjoyed taking pictures on my travels, but it was an interest in wedding photography that made me push my passion to the next level, which in turn led to an increased interest in portrait photography, corporate headshots and event photography.

I am now a professional photographer, specialising in corporate headshots, portrait photography, commercial and property photography throughout the UK and abroad. I also run one to one training and group workshops for people who want to use their own camera properly.

I have a home studio in my hometown of Axminster in East Devon. Or, I can bring my portable studio and equipment to you. I have been a portrait photographer for over 10 years, so I have worked with many clients who are very nervous in front of the camera, and I have a few tricks up my sleeve that help people feel at ease.
